NASA Great Moonbuggy Race

This project is very special for me because it was the reason why I started loving space so much and wanted to become an aerospace engineer to send robots everywhere in the universe.

In 2009, I was a high school student in Romania who participated in the NASA Great Moonbuggy Race and won the Best Design Award.

Our team was consisted of: Team Moonwalker: Mădălina Alecu, Gabriela Bombărăscu, Ramona Dorobanţu, Sorina Lupu, Patricia Vîlceanu, Ciprian FărcăĢanu, coordinated by Prof. Ioana Stoica, my former high school teacher who is such an amazing, high energy teacher who always pushed us to do great things!
