NASA Lunabotics Mining Competition

Designed and built a remote-controlled robot to dig simulated lunar regolith — tested at Kennedy Space Center

In a team, designed and built a remote-controlled robot capable of digging into simulated lunar regolith, developed for the NASA Lunabotics Mining Competition in May 2012. The robot was tested at the Kennedy Space Center.

I am very greatful to Prof. Parvu from Faculty of Aerospace Engineering in Romania for helping me assemble a team of students to participate in the competition and for putting so much effort into building the robot with us.
